Okay y’all, May isn’t too wild…maybe…

It’s a blend of deep inner work, fresh mental energy, and the first sparks of a bold new chapter.

A majority of the month, we’re encouraged to slow down our thinking and make practical plans that can actually stick, with Mercury in Taurus. Which preps us for when it moves into Gemini where mental energy ramps up: curiosity, conversations, and connection become the currency of progress.

There’s also beautiful support that lasts most of the month with Jupiter sextile Chiron, offering a window to grow through healing.

We get ANOTHER outer planet shifting signs this month - Saturn enters Aries (May 24). After years of Pisces’ dreamy dissolution, Saturn in Aries reawakens our drive to initiate, compete, and lead. It's a slow beginning, but the fire is officially relit.

Altogether, May is a month to slow down where it matters, break free where you’re stuck, and embrace new ideas that align with your next version of growth. It's not about rushing; it's about reorganizing your energy with purpose, setting new mental frameworks, and trusting that the fire you're beginning to feel is meant to build — slowly but surely.

Pluto stations Retrograde

May 4th - October 13th

Pluto retrogrades for 6 months every year, so it’s an energy we’re rather used to. It’s a time for taking everything that’s happened to us regarding:

transformation
endings and new beginnings
power dynamics
our subconscious

and bringing in so we can reflect on it internally.

It can be a great time for slowly unraveling what no longer serves you. This could mean as well as reclaiming your power.

While it was direct in this past cycle, we got the last energy of Pluto in Capricorn and the beginning of Pluto in Aquarius. What has shifted for your business in relation to structure/systems and showing up as your authentic self and with innovation? Where have you let go of external pressures and instead, followed your inner guidance?

for business owners + creators → Take this same reflection and use it for your business. Where have you let go of doing things because it’s “smart business strategy” and where have you started to listen to what works for you? Small business is about find what works for you as an entrepreneur - bringing your own flair to make you stand out. This not only applies to branding, but to your approach as well.

Mercury enters Taurus

May 10th - May 25th

This brings a dose of steadiness, comfort, luxury, materialism, and sensuality into our communications, thought patterns, and the way we learn/process things.

We may find that we are think about money and financial security a bit more, prioritizing things that bring us stability and tangible outcomes.

It can bring a more grounded approach to thinking. After impulsive Aries, we get more motivation to sit with our thoughts before enacting on them. This can go towards the side of being too stubborn with our opinions. It may be hard to try and change someone’s mind, but again, it’s not that fiery energy (fighting/arguments) that Aries brings.

It’s a great time for learning to cook, make something with your hands (ceramics, art), gardening, or anything else that combines your mind with your senses.

for business owners + creators → Slow down your decision making process. Aries season had us acting fast - which is necessary to get the ball rolling sometimes. But now it’s time to pull back and analyze what worked, what didn’t and what to stick with for the next couple period.

Mercury also rules marketing, so shift your marketing strategies towards something that is sustainable as well.

Full Moon in Scorpio

May 12th

The annual Scorpio Full Moon generally invites us to reflect on and let go of things related to control, power, shadow work, and obsession.

Scorpio already brings the intensity. In addition, there’s a couple of tense transits. We have the moon forming a loose opposition to Uranus, which can bring some frustrating, unexpected changes that will most likely test our need for control.

Mercury also forms a square to pluto (almost exact at the same time of this full moon) and pluto rules Scorpio. So this can bring in some obsessive, all or nothing, intense thoughts and communication.

All of this will lay the groundwork for the following reflections:

Where could I let go of needing control?
What do I obsessively think about too much?
What relationships am I in where the power dynamics aren’t balanced?
What concepts or ideals am I giving too much power too?
What is getting in the way of my continuous transformation?

for business owners + creators → Reclaim your power in your business. Do what you can to let go of money fears and see how you can create a bit more space for authenticity. Even if it’s just slightly modifying one strategy.

Sun conjunct Uranus

May 17th

This can be known as the most surprising day of the year! It’s not a tense connection but it’s not necessarily a harmonious one either, so it truly could go either (or both!) ways.

Surprises that put us in an unexpected situation invites us to be innovative and find new ways of

doing things. It’s a great day for these realizations especially as they pertain to your identity.

It’s the start to a new annual cycle of experiencing yourself in different ways. Be open to this change, because in a few months, when the sun square uranus, it could bring up some tension that makes us feel stuck and forced to make a change. Just notice what comes up for you now in regards to your identity/sense of purpose as it related to freedom and originality.

It’s also easy for our nervous system to be in over drive on/around this day, so do what you need to calm it down. Get out in nature, meditate, regulate your body, listen to music - whatever fits for you in that moment. Take that extra 5 minutes for mindfulness. It will be worth it.

for business owners + creators → This is a great energy for looking at your branding and the way you present your business to the world. If there’s anything that has made you feel stuck, this energy can help you find some options for moving forward. Trust the unconventional patterns.

Jupiter sextile Chiron

May 18th

Last year, we experienced a dance with Jupiter and Chiron but it was a square. We felt the square 3 times because of the retrograde. Jupiter squares aren’t so bad, but it could have brought some tension with the way we want to grow and expand and the way we’re healing.

The sextile offers a more supportive and organic approach to our growth as it pertains to healing and our deeper wounds. However, it’s easy to miss out on this energy since nothing is causing tension, so we relax. I will note, we get another dance of Jupiter square Chiron starting in October and lingering until July 2026. So any thing we let slide this time around may come back with more intensity then.

So what can you do? Get intentional with what wounds are currently holding back your growth or expanding your perspectives (and hey, you do this to keep you safe. But where can you show yourself that you are safe and it’s okay step out).

Think about the story you tell yourself and play with re-writing it. It doesn’t have to mean you buy the story. Just play with different stories.

for business owners + creators → Take your hardships and wounds and turn them into a teaching or shareable moment. Getting vulnerable with your team or audience can build connection. People will be more open to vulnerability under this transit. It’s also rather healing to share about these things. It gives it this energy of, okay, I’ve learned and done something beneficial with that experience.

Sun enters Gemini

May 20th - June 20th

This brings that social, playful, adaptability, and curiosity into our identity and sense of purpose.

Maybe we get curious about different ways of expressing our self - this is the time to lean into it!

You may feel more inclined to hang out with friends, try a new class, or engage more in the group text. Say yes to invites! Prepare for restlessness and meet it with these options. Getting overwhelmed with options is likely, but that’s a good problem to have!

for business owners + creators → This is an energy all around creating content! People are ready to learn, so release some educational pieces. Great for launching a course or new IG series.

Saturn enters Aries

May 24th - September 4th

Okay! Another outer planet shift! (and there’s still more to go this year!). Granted it’s only here for a few months before it retrograde back into Pisces, but it will move into Aries February 13th for about 2 years. So this is a taster of what’s to come in 2026.

Saturn rules our relationship to discipline, authority, responsibility, life lessons, limitations, structure and control.

Saturn did NOT like being in Pisces, which is about going with the flow and NOT having boundaries. While it’s energies were somewhat limited, it was still doing it’s job. We saw restrictions in health care, demand for accountability in the arts (writers strikes), and more structure around invisible diseases like chronic illness, mental health, and long covid.

Aries rules independence, the self, leadership, entrepreneurship, directness, and starting new things. It will be a shift from fog to fire.

It’s a shift from bringing structure and discipline from the collective to the self. Can we apply what

we have been asking of the collective to ourselves? If we want something new, are we willing to give up some personal comforts? It’s very, no one is coming to save you so let’s get cracking and do it ourselves. It’s energy for the rise of self-reliance (and by this I mean from institutions, not each other. Community, yes. Corporations, naw).

I do feel like this is a fabulous energy for entrepreneurs, perhaps bring more discipline to those who have or want to start a business.

Saturn demands accountability wherever it goes, so I’m (probably overly) optimistic about the possibility of bringing more accountability into our leadership.

It’s big on feeling/understanding the consequences of our actions, both on a macro and micro level.

My best advice is to meet hardships with courage. That energy is here to tap into. Pisces was about escaping them, Aries wants us to take them on directly.

for business owners + creators → Use these few months to lean into taking strategic risks. Saturn is about strategy and Aries is the risk taker. Use the courage Aries energy brings and channel it into your game play.

It’s also a good time to invest in leadership skills - taking courses, going to a seminar - whatever you feel called to. Leadership is getting a ton of fresh energy this year so it would be a good time to refresh your approach.

Mercury enters Gemini

May 25th - June 8th

Get ready for fast-paced thoughts! Gemini loves to constantly move to the next thing which means our thoughts will most likely be doing the same things. If you don’t have ADHD, you might be questioning if you do. If you already do (like ya girl), welp…buckle up. Just roll with it, bb.

The good news is that Mercury rules Gemini, so it’s very comfortable here. So this constant task switching can actually be energized, so long as we create extra intention for some sort of organization (hello thought catches!).

They both live for the learning all details. Enjoy diving into rabbit holes and getting curious about new things.

Gemini is also very social and witty, which may seep into the way we communicate. Maybe we’re more chatty than normal.

Duality is also very potent with Gemini, which is a nice change from Taurus. We can be understanding things from multiple sides and leaning into the two opposing things can be true at one concept.

for business owners + creators → Collaborate with your audience! Go live, create polls, get in the DMs. Approach marketing with a more connected, social approach where you can get direct feedback for what changes to make next.

New Moon in Gemini

May 26th

Gemini is all about how we communicate, speaking, curiosity socialize, learn, and share ideas. So this is our annual fresh start in that arena.

Gemini likes to move fast so it’s easy to feel restless or want to start a million things at once. That’s okay, flow with it. Just make sure it’s reasonable and following the curiosity doesn’t put you in a bind.

We get Uranus moving into the sign of Gemini next month, which brings a bunch of change to Gemini things, so this New Moon will be a great intention to rethink how you want to communicate and share ideas with others. What do you want to learn. How do you want to socialize.

There’s 3 supportive transits with this new moon:

It forms a trine to pluto, which brings welcomed transformation by going deep and uncovering some hidden emotions.
It’s a few degrees away from Mercury, close enough to consider it conjunct. Mercury will be in Gemini, where both qualities are strengthened, bringing in extra mental energy. Watch for overanalyzing our emotions.
It also forms a loose sextile to Saturn, which can help bring stability into any new beginnings we’re initiating.

May 29th

This is generally always a day of mental clarity and a mind boost, so I like to mention it here. Communication is sharp. Our words have power!

They meet up in the sign of Gemini, which enhances all the mercury in gemini energy mentioned above.

I would suggest doing a brain dump and getting all those things out so you can see what’s been hanging out up there. The mind faucet will be wide ope.

for business owners + creators → This is a great energy for presenting, hosting a seminar, a live or anything else where you are educating others. I would suggest having some sort of outline if there are points you really want to cover because it could be easy to go off on a tangent or lose track of time.
