First of all, congratulations on making it through March. Like literally an actual achievement. It was QUITE a time.

If you’re still feeling icky or stuck, that’s totally fine and makes sense for the energy of the first half of April. There’s so much that happens in April that will start to lighten and motivation.

I mean, the latter half of April will have ALL PLANETS moving forward. I feel like it’s been centuries (it hasn’t). So if you have been waiting for this year to truly kick off or for things to feel better, that might just come mid April.

I WILL SAY! The full moon is gonna be an emotional one and the mars opposite to pluto is gonna bring up some aggression, so it’s not all perfectly lovely, but it IS all the perfect energy we need to progress (as all astrology is).

Alright, let's dive into it.

Saturn, Uranus, Mars Minor Grand Trine

April 4th

What the hell did I just say?! It’s a lot to a non-astro nerd but what you need to know is this is a SUPPORTIVE transit.

Okay so first of all, Saturn and Uranus form an exact sextile on this day, which is a conversation they have been working up to February and will continue through June. They will connect again August - long way of saying, this is yet another cycle that flavors half of this year. IT’S A THEME.

On top of that, on the same freaking day, mars jumps in and forms an exact sextile to Uranus and a trine to Saturn (again, nerdy, I know). Main point is that there is creative or productive opportunity to grab. BUT! You have to go after and/or look for it. Harsh transits put it right in our face. This is a supportive transit, which means we might kick back if nothing is wrong.

Uranus is at the focal point, which means it’s the outlet of which this energy will come through. Uranus rules our relationships to innovation, liberations, sudden changes, rebellion, and progressive movements towards the future.

The Mars and Saturn influence gives this energy stabilized and disciplined action. We may have a sudden urge to take some action or make some changes. This Saturn energy suggests that we have support to make these changes last. Let your restlessness fuel you.

All in all, this is an energy about breaking the norm and creating stable changes towards progress. Think sustainable revolution.

We have a dose of intuition and compassion coming in from Saturn, stability and a focus on money/comfort coming in from Uranus, and nurturing/protective energy coming from Mars. It’s grounded emotional support.

We will be feeling the surge of wanting to take action for about 7 days on either side of April 4th.

We will be feeling the desire for sustainable revolution through October.

for business owners + creators → Saturn is about strategy and Uranus is about freedom. Take action (Mars) to update or create a business strategy that allows you more freedom.

Maybe you finally find the perfect virtual assistant or social media manager.

Seek out guidance and learn from what others are doing. You may learn there’s other ways of doing things that gives you back your time.

Mercury stations direct

April 7th

Yes! Some forward movement in terms of our brain, technology and communications. Granted, Mercury is still in the sign of Pisces, which gives retrograde vibes in itself. Mercury likes to think logically and figure things out, which gets wittled down by the Pisces energy that just like to go with the flow and let all things have a bit of truth.

Mercury will move into Aries April 15th and move out of it’s shadow April 25th. Both of these, in addition to Mercury stationing direct will each bring a layer of clarity.

for business owners + creators → It’s go time! Any contracts, projects or big decisions you’ve been holding off on or have been unsure about may start to gain some momentum.

Full Moon in Libra

April 12th

Libra full moons are all about releasing things that no longer serve you related to people pleasing, unbalanced relationships, resentments, and beauty/aesthetic.

With the grand minor trine that I mentioned before along with the mars opposite to Pluto, we are learning/accepting that confrontation is often a necessary part of change. This full moon may highlight where it is we’re compromising too much in order to keep the peace.

This full moon is also sitting opposite to chiron, which could make us have BIG emotions around long lasting wounds. They may be lit up and highlighted in ways that make us feel not so great.

The full moon does offer energy to help release some things around these wounds. It’s a process though. Even letting go of one little piece can feel so much lighter.

Mars is also at play, forming a square to this full moon, bringing in some aggression that might make us act out OR could motivate us to make some changes.

for business owners + creators → This is a great energy to let go of any client/business relationships that are draining you. Is there a client you are doing way too much for? Adapt your pricing or if it’s not a vibe and you’re financially able to, let them go. Is there a vendor or contractor that keeps f*cking you over? Replace them. There’s better options. I know it’s a lot of work to do this, but it will save you frustration and create more space for flow. Honor your time and energy.

Venus stations direct

April 12th

Venus stations direct in the sign of Pisces. All that we have been reflecting on in regards to how we show up compassionately in relationships gets some forward movement.

It’s in its shadow phase until May 15th, which means we’re revisiting themes from our relationships, finances, and value systems that may have come up since March 1st.

It makes final connects with:

Saturn - asking us to get serious about our relationships + finances. Can also make us feel lonely.
Uranus - bringing excitement and welcomed unexpectedness.
Neptune - dreaminess, creativity and/or illusions

So expect some sort of closing the loop vibes with these things.

for business owners + creators → If you’ve been holding back on making a financial decision, you may get some forward movement now. Some clarity might come your way that helps the decision making process make sense.

Also if you’ve been feeling creativity blocked or slowed down, this could offer some flow there, too.

Mercury enters Aries

April 15th

Again! Our communication gets a dose of directness, which can be helpful to those who might hold back. OR turn into offensive statements to those who really don’t. It’s easy to say things without thinking them all the way through.

This also brings confidence in our decision making, maybe a little too much? Definitely watch for impulsivity but also trust that you can make it work - whatever way you decide to go.

You may also find that you’re thinking/talking about yourself and your personal power more.

Which again, could be really needed for some folks and really NOT for others. If you’re somebody who likes to talk about themselves, maybe create space for others to do the same. They may be wanting to more than other times here.

Mars enter Leo

April 17th

Freaking finally! If two planets weren’t going direct wasn’t enough, Mars (the planet of motivations, action, physical energy, and desires) moves into the sign of Leo (passion, play, creativity, generosity).

Mars has been in Cancer since January 6th where it does NOT like to be. We’ve been having to work extra hard in regards to our motivations (amiright?).

With Mars in Leo, we may be more focused on our creative or passion projects. It’s also a fixed sign, which brings some steadiness into the things we’re doing.

We got a taste of this on November 3rd - January 6th, so think back to then in regards to what came up for you in terms of your motivations, the way you assert yourself, and your relationship to conflict. Mars was retrograding, so we may have been pulled back and assessing this things.

Now it’s time to put what we’ve learned to the test.

It’s in Leo through June 17th.

for business owners + creators → Leo also rules creative expression, which to me and a lot of business owners, is (partly) their business. So, infuse more of your personality into your brand. This is also great energy to promote yourself unapologetically. Put yourself out there, there confidence will be there!

Sun enters Taurus

April 19th

Happy birthday Tauruses! Taurus energy is all about stability, persistence and determination. Connecting it to nature, Aries is about new sprouts, Taurus is about steady growth.

Taurus loves comfort and luxury, so don’t be surprised if you wanna kick back at home or splurge on some nice things (if you don’t have the means, avoid putting yourself in situations where you might spend!).

This is a lovely month to fall into cooking, body work/massages, gardening, or aligning your beauty routine.

Watch out for possessiveness and being too stubborn!

for business owners + creators → Taurus also rules our material items and money, so it would be a good time to sort those things out. March had a venus retrograde, which is not a great time to take any action around your finances. Taurus season IS. The things you decide to buy may bring you some security as they have a higher change of aligning with your values.

Mars opposite Pluto

April 26th

Okay this is the 3rd and final touch down of this dance Mars and Pluto have been doing and it’s kind of been a doozy.

The first one happened on November 4th (gross). The second one happened on January 2nd, and now finally we are closing the circle of this cycle.

Mars opposite Pluto brings a lot of defensiveness. Our survival instincts are kicked up and we’re feeling vulnerable and inflammatory. There’s a lot of all or nothing energy. It will be hard to see the in between options. We could be obsessing about the things we want.

In addition, we may feel super intensely in our bodies, whether it’s existing pains, new pains, or just a ton of angst. If you are feeling angsty - move your body. If you’re able to, transfer this into an intense workout - whatever that means for you. If you have more serious ailments, DO NOT do this. Take care of your body. I have a feeling my lupus-ass, inflamed-ass self will be taking some Tylenol.

Now granted, this doesn’t feel great. But because of this larger cycle, the universe/astrology really wants us to learn these lessons of:

Anger being a messenger - not the controller
When confrontation is necessary
Controlling our reactions and accepting that we can’t control others.
Persistence vs obsession

Pluto is the planet of big transformation, after all, so let’s grow bb.

for business owners + creators → do your best to not add to the fuel on this day. If that means taking it easy and not planning much, do that. Maybe that means knowing others may be acting out, so giving them a bit of grace.

New Moon in Taurus

April 27th

A new moon in Taurus offers new beginnings in things related to money, stability, our senses, comfort, and our values.

This new moon connects loosely with the mars/Pluto opposition, becoming the focal point of a t-square. Meaning, this is a spicy new moon.

A lot of this triggered, defensiveness could get heightened through our emotions. However, the new moon vibes may encourage us to use this emotion to take action and start something new.

It’s also a great time to choose embodiment, safety, and slowness as a form of rebellion. So relax and rest and know you’re still, in a way, fighting the system.

It’s a time to set intentions around:

Prioritizing your pleasure
Slowing down and enjoy the things that comfort you
Financial security
Aligning with your values
Understand how money/material goods holds power over you

for business owners + creators → Now that we have some supportive, forward moving energy, what are some things you can do strategically to make some steady growth? Not necessarily starting new things, but instead, look at what's really working and put some more effort/time into that.

Venus enters Aries

April 30th

Again! Again because of the retrograde. And again with Venus not being able to fulfill her duties as successfully. The qualities of Aries simply do not mix well with Venus and the sign acts as a filter for the energy that the planet brings. So Aries filters out a lot of Venus energy, making us have to do some extra work towards our relationships, finances, and self worth.

It adds an element of being direct and assertive in those things, which could be helpful, but could also lead to being impulsive in an unwelcome way.

for business owners + creators → Watch for impulsive spending during this time! Or even impulsive interests. If you're someone like me a have a craft closet full of supplies from different phases, I would watch out for this in your business (because business investments tend to be more than a pair of knitting needles!). But if there's something you've been stewing on, especially during the retrograde and feel the desire to move forward, this can give you the confidence to do so.
