Monthly horoscope for business owners, entrepreneurs and creators but is applicable for all. Use astrology in your business to tap into energies above to create more flow and alignment.

A lot of astrologers are going bananas over the astrology of 2025 and March is truly the month that kicks this all off.

We have Mercury + Venus going retrograde, which are both personal planets so we will be feeling it. We have eclipse season, which brings accelerated energy and quick changes. And hello, it’s spring quinox, which will give us an energy of fresh beginnings.

But Sarah, fresh starts during retrogrades?! Yes, it’s a little wonky, but think of it less of brand new starts and instead a new beginning to continued lessons/themes.

THEN! The talk of the town is Neptune moving into the sign of Aries, which is a HUGE shift as Neptune takes 14 years to change signs.

But what does it all mean? Well, I would be very flexible this month. There’s so much up for change that I have a feeling how you feel by the end of the month is going to very much differ from how you feel now.

Your values may shift, your perspective, your connection to your intuition, your relationship with perfectionism - lots is on the table. But, please don’t be afraid. Just be present and handle this moment with as much compassion as you can. I know you can handle it.

Business Owners: This astrology forecast is geared towards small business owners and creators. It speaks to the energy of the collective. It may impact your personal chart differently, however, a majority of folks will be experiencing this energy so it helps to know since we are doing business with the collective. This is a forecast: meaning it explains the conditions. It does not mean that these things are definitely going to happen. It means there is a higher chance of some of these things happening. There is more access to this energy, but it doesn’t mean everyone will access it.

Alright, let's dive into it.

Venus Retrograde

March 1st - April 13th

Venus retrogrades off us a moment of reflecting upon:

Our values (who/what we value and why we value them)
- Including how we value ourselves.
Our relationships and how we show up in love
Our finances
What makes us feel secure

All of these things are activated with this retrograde, meaning we may feel some tension or potential disconnect from these things. This forces a moment for us to get intentional with what we are putting our attention towards.

While retrograde, it makes connections with:

Pluto - asking us to dive DEEP into analyzing our relationships and the power dynamics with them. This is a harmonious connect, offering more support through this.
Neptune - bringing confusion and illusion. It will ask us to practice BOUNDARIES. Maybe financially or with those we love.
Saturn - which might make us feel alone. And/or could help us get more serious about who/what we are giving our time to.
Uranus - which brings some excitement (and impulsiveness) into the mix. However, it’s a supportive transit so it may be more fun than disruptive.

for business owners + creators → This is a great time to reflect on your values in your business. Does your business state what its values are and do they align with you and your customers? What are promises you want to keep for your customers/clients?

This is also a fab time to reassess your finances. If possible, avoid and big, unnecessary purchases because once Venus goes direct, you may have a different perspective. But reviewing your spends? Yes. Perfect for the upcoming tax season.

Mercury enters Aries

March 2nd - March 29th

This is FAST paced thinking. It’s go time. We have more access to make quick decisions and initiate new projects.

We may also experience more direct and assertive communication. Great for public speaking, maybe not so great for holding space for a friend or family member. Be cautious of being too direct and therefore hurtful.

Mercury stations direct in this sign, so we get an extended stay here. Notice what comes up for you because it’s most likely going to come back as part of a larger cycle. More on that below.

for business owners + creators → Aries rules entrepreneurship, so this is a great time to focus some mental space on what new initiatives your business could move into. This is great energy for starting new projects. You might be more motivated instead of overwhelmed.

Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo

March 13th

This is the first eclipse with the nodes in new signs, aka this the beginning a new 18 month cycle.

This full moon lunar eclipse is asking us to let go of things that no longer serve us that are related to perfectionism. If you don’t create or show up unless you’ve got it down perfectly, let that sh*t go. Learning is beautiful and showing up “perfectly” doesn’t allow much space for growth and flow.

Note that with a lunar eclipse, the sun casts a shadow on the moon, which may have us feeling a bit distanced from our emotions. We may be FEELING them but not necessarily understanding them - which is okay and kinda the point. We don’t need involve our mind (mercury) to allow ourselves to feel.

Eclipse season brings a sense of unknown/chaos with them and on top of that, Uranus is activated by this full moon. Luckily it’s a supportive activation, but to say the least, expect the unexpected. But perhaps in more of a fun way! Breaking the norm could lead you to new experiences that actually help you grow.

Lastly Saturn is at play with this full moon as well, which could bring a sense of stability into these new cycles and/or a sense of heaviness.

for business owners + creators → Make a list of projects, posts, or other things that you’ve held back from releasing because you felt it wasn’t good enough. Start to write out why you think that and see if you can work past/through any of these reasons. Or at least notice any patterns.

Awareness is a great first step.

Mercury Retrograde

March 14th - April 7th

Oh our favorite! We get the first of 3 mercury retrogrades this year.

It starts in Aries, which has us reflecting on how we assert our ideas. We’re ask to pause and think twice before speaking (either with intention or because we put our foot in our mouth and felt the burn).

It’s also an ideal time to review how your actions align with your thoughts. Are you frequently thinking “why did I do that? I knew that was going to happen if I did that”. This might be a sign that there is misalignment there and this needs some attention. Maybe gaining more trust with your knowledge in order to follow through with what you decide to do.

Mercury shifts into Pisces on March 29th, which I will talk about more below.

for business owners + creators → Review your communication and leadership styles. Where do we charge ahead without consideration? And where could we quiet the worry thoughts and bring in more courage? It’s also great for reflecting upon your past actions. I know we just had a mars retrograde that made us do TOO much of this, but it’s a good time to see if you’ve integrated those lessons.

Sun enters Aries/Spring Equinox

March 20th

Yip! This is the beginning of a new astrological year and truly where it feels like a fresh start.

Nature starts anew as we see with new seedlings and sprouts. We are part of nature, so if your year has been off to a rocky start, this is okay!

Granted, this “fresh start” falls right in between two inner planet retrogrades, so we might not feel the forward motion until mid april, but this can bring something new.

Aries season lights up our relationships to:

Courage
Assertiveness
Entrepreneurship
Naivity/spontanueity
Me first energy
Leadership

This is a month of increased confidence, passion and excitement. Soak it up but watch for leaning too close to impulsivity.

for business owners + creators → Usually I say it’s great energy for launching, but again, those retrogrades are feeling pesky. So perhaps, you’ve been working on something and now it’s in the review stage before launching? YES! This is the perfect energy for that.

Sun conjunct Mercury

March 24th

AKA a Mercury Cazimi! When mercury and the sun sit on top of each other, we get a boost in mental clarity + communication. Granted, this one happens during mercury retrograde, so it’s not as powerful as one that happens outside a retrograde. HOWEVER! This will still provide some welcomed clarity amongst the fog.

They meet up in the sign of Aries, super charging the reflection around our initiatives and returning to projects/ideas to find a fresh perspective.

You may get a burst of ideas. Have a system to write them all down. Maybe give them some breathing space before acting upon them.

for business owners + creators → This will be a day of more mental clarity and a pinch less of the mercury retrograde vibes. So if you have things to do that require mercury to focus a bit more (mental work, short travel, technology, contracts, communication) that can’t wait until the retrograde is over, plan it for this day.

Venus retrogrades into Pisces

March 27th - April 30th

Okay! This will help Venus out because she LOVES being in Pisces. Pisces is about love and compassion and so is Venus.

This is a lovely time to reflect upon how we are being compassionate in our relationships with others. For example, you could assess how you show support. Is It what they really need? Or is it what you need? Another way might be understanding your triggers so that if you’re feeling riled up, you can know if it’s really about them or if it’s something from your past. This can minimize triggered responses directed at the wrong person and allow you to show up with more kindness.

Note that Venus was in Pisces from January 2nd - February 3rd, so think back to those weeks as we might get a return to the things that came up then.

for business owners + creators → Just as importantly, it’s an opportunity to review how empathetic we are to ourselves, especially as it pertains to our definitions of self worth. Take note of that inner critic and unpack where those demands come from. Like all water signs, Pisces likes to get real and wash away the surface level lies. Connecting your self worth to YOUR values (not your family’s or society’s) will bring you closer to alignment and further from shame.

New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aries

March 29th

The Aries New Moon always represents the new beginnings of new beginnings of the year. The fact that it’s an eclipse this year is no surprise to me because it’s a wild year, y’all!

This means that it’s a rather intensified version of a new beginning that sticks around for the next 6 months or so. It’s a new cycle for sure.

With a solar eclipse, the moon blocks our view from the sun, meaning the the sun is super charging the energy of the moon (our emotions).

The Aries energy (which we will talk about a lot in 2025) is energetic, spontaneous, direct and courageous while bringing a focus towards leadership, entrepreneurship, and independence.

This happens in tangent with both Mercury and Venus sitting on top of Neptune, which brings compassion AND confusion into these new beginnings.

It could bring impulsive decisions from our leadership. On a smaller scale, it could be a step into our personal power by leaning into our authentic identity and confidence.

The best thing to do with eclipses is to be PRESENT. They are about tapping into our emotions, which we can truly do once we stop analyzing or trying to control the situation.

for business owners + creators → If you’re feeling confidence to do something, go with it. Do your best to ensure you or others aren’t being harmed by this (which sounds obvious but with this energy we might have to be more intentional about doing that) and just go for it. Aries is f*ck around and find out energy so just try it.

Mercury retrogrades into Pisces

March 29th - April 15th

While we got some strength with Venus going into Pisces, the opposite happens when Mercury retrogrades back into Pisces. It’s very uncomfortable in Pisces because Pisces is about going with the flow, being out of this reality and dipping into fantasies. Mercury is about logic and making sense of things.

Mercury stations direct on April 7th but it will stick around in Pisces until April 15th.

With this retrograde, we are being asked to reflect on our thoughts and communication as they pertain to compassion, creativity, emotions, boundaries and spirituality.

It can make us feel super brain fog BUT! It can also be cool for revisiting a creative project. Pull out

that ole knitting bag from the closet and see what it brings you.

Some questions to ponder:

Do I express my emotional needs? If not, what’s preventing me?
Your energetic boundaries, especially when in conversation with others or as it pertains to recurring thoughts.
Do I let the fear of being “unrealistic” stop me from trying? Or on the other hand, is there time when being too idealistic has cost me in detrimental ways?
Do I know the difference between my thoughts and my intuition? How can I practice more clarity around that?
What is the current state of my self talk? Is there one area I could practice being kinder?

for business owners + creators → Be gentle with yourself if your brain no worky. It’s not great for being super focused, but it could be a time of letting things flow to you a bit more. I know this can’t always be done, but you do have control of taking small step to be kinder with yourself. You may just need extra self care, so allow that if you can. Maybe taking 5 minute breaks more often to let your brain unknot. Maybe going on a walk more frequently this week.

Neptune enters Aries

March 13th - October 22nd

This is the first outer planet move of the year (there are 4 of them! On top of Pluto shifting last year), which marks a huge shift in energy.

It will be here through October, where it will retrograde back into Pisces until January 26th, 2026. Then it’s in Aries for good until 2039.

Neptune represents our connection to:

spirituality
imagination
idealism
dreams
drugs/addiction
escapism
confusion and illusion
the arts and some forms of creativity
anxiety
other realities

It is the planet that rules Pisces, in modern astrology, where it can fall into it’s flowy nature. Both Neptune and Pisces rule the things that we don’t see with our eyes, but perhaps feel or just know are true - like our connection to spirit or our intuition.

Neptune was at home in Pisces since 2011. We saw a huge shift in spirituality as it came to the main stream with a big focus on yoga, meditation and mindfulness. We, in the US, also saw the legalization of weed and the decriminalization of other drugs. Substance abuse awareness grew and so did our language around mental health. This is all Neptune in Pisces energy.

Neptune in Pisces was about the ideals of spirituality - the mystical and dreamy experience of it while Neptune in Aries represents a new beginning in spirituality. It can be about EMBODYING what we have learned.

It’s about about ringing it in personally to seek personal empowerment through spirituality and interconnectedness.

It can also bring brings a self centered energy to spirituality. People digging deeper into their spiritual beliefs and not being as empathetic or open to others having their own. We may see an increase in religious moral superiority, especially in our leadership (just what we need, right?).

It could also bring more confusion and illusion (Neptune) into our leadership (Aries). But we’ve had the experience of Neptune in Pisces for the past 14 years - this energy doesn’t just disappear. We take the lessons we’ve learn from it (for those who were tapped in) and bring it with us. So all our growth and connection to our intuition comes with us a helps us decipher our own truths.

Bold moves with AI + augmented reality
New beginnings in art

for business owners + creators → This will offer a shift that could allow you to bring more mysticism, imagination, and compassion into our strategies of entrepreneurship. Some things may get more confusion, so be that beacon of clarity for others. Practice transparency with your team and your customers to minimize anxiety and misunderstandings, while also providing a sense of connectedness, which will most definitely be needed.
